• LIONS are the Kings of the Jungle! Known for their courage and possess both beauty and strength.
• Lions are the BOYS and lionesses are the GIRLS!
• You can tell the difference by the beautiful impressive manes around their face, which signifies their masculinity and reflects their health. The darker and thicker the mane, the healthier it is.
• A lion's eyesight is five times better than a human being.
• A lion can hear prey from a mile away.
• Lionesses are great moms, and will even take care of other lioness's babies so that they can be loved and nurtured !
• They even do almost all of the hunting working in teams making sure their babies are not hungry.

    • PENGUINS are considered birds, but they don't fly in the sky!
    • They fly in the water! There are 17 different kinds of Penguins in our world,
    • Mostly living in the Southern Hemisphere.
    • They each have their own distinct call, so their
    • Friends and families can recognize them from far away!
    • They catch their food while swimming in the water,
    • And they come on to the land to have their babies.
    • The Dad penguin sits on the unborn egg to protect it from being hurt.
    • Little baby penguins instinctually huddle together to stay warm while their moms goes out to find food.
    • Penguins are very loyal, mate for life and dedicated to their family and community.
    • Penguins are great swimmers and need open waters to be themselves.
    • What we can learn from them is loyalty, determination, and how to work together for the common good.
    • Penguins, like all wild animals, should live in their natural habitat free to live out their penguin-ness!

    • FROGS- there are over 4500 different kinds of frogs hopping along in our world!
    • The biggest frog in the world is called the GOLAITH frog, and weighs about 7 pounds, the size of a newborn baby.
    • The smallest frog in the world is the size of a housefly!
    • A frog is an amphibian which means it can live both in water and on land .
    • They lay their eggs in water.
    • The eggs hatch into a tadpole which lives in water until it transforms into an adult frog.
    • Most frogs hop or even leap, up to as much as more than 30 times their own body length.
    • But some frogs prefer to walk or even run.
    • Frogs make a thousand different sounds, yelps, chirps and grunts, many more than just RIBBIT!
    • Instead of drinking water, frogs soak up water and most of the air it needs through their skin.
    • Frogs use their sticky,strong tongues to catch and swallow food.
    • A cool fact is , frogs have amazing eye sights and can see forwards, sideways and upwards all at the same time.
    • They never close their eyes, even when they sleep.
    • What we can learn from them is how to jump for joy! and that everything we do matters.
    • After all legendary Kermit the Frog is kind , compassionate and FUN !
    • Frogs don't like to be caught by us, and they do not make for good pets!
    • They like to be left alone to hop around near lakes, ponds and streams to keep their skin moist!
    • Frogs play a very important role in nature helping us understand how our entire ecosystem is functioning.
    • It is best to leave frogs to their important natural frog-ness!

    KITTENS - We love kittens! Fuzzy little fur balls of happiness.
    • Mommy cats keep a close watch on their babies and will pick them up by the back of the neck and move them away from any danger.
    • They nurse their babies just like our moms do; making us strong and healthy and ready for the world.
    • Kittens are silly, funny and curious always loving to play.
    • They will find all kinds of things to turn into a toy!
    • They have an adventurist spirt and like to find dark places to hide.
    • They get sleepy and need nap time like us.
    • You can tell how a kitten is feeling by the way it behaves.
    • An arched back and hissing means he is afraid, yawning and stretching means he is relaxed and happy, and licking his paws and wiping them, means he is cleaning himself.
    • Grown up kittens (cats) are still playful, but also like their alone time which is special part of their independent nature.
    • What we can learn from them is playfulness, companionship, independence and love!
    • Little kittens are fragile and we need to treat them with kindness and gentleness, never hurt them or put them in dangerous situations. Then we will have a purrfect friend FURever!
